So, Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, out of the blues, posted this throwback photo of herself and all her daughters in white outfits...a few hours after Solange's wedding pics hit the net.

People felt she was trying to upstage Solange and came for her. lol. She's currently being eaten alive in the comment section of that picture on her page..

Another fallen hero; Lt. Mudassir killed by Boko Haram

Liuetenant A. Mudassir (Mudex) was killed by Boko Haram militants yesterday November 16th. He and members of his troop were on their way to reclaim Chibok from Boko Haram when they were ambushed and was killed during the ensuing gun battle.

He was a 59RC gentleman officer from the Nigerian defence academy. His bereaved friend, AS Aruwa shared his photos on twitter.

American aide worker Peter Kassig beheaded by ISIS

Former US soldier and aide worker Peter Kassig has been beheaded by ISIS. The US government confirmed his killing in a statement today after reviewing a video ISIS released that purported to show the beheading. The 26 year old Indianapolis man was captured in eastern Syria on Oct. 1, 2013, while delivering relief supplies for the aid group he founded.

This will make it the 5th foreigner ISIS has beheaded so far!

The 28-year-old singer and her 51-year-old video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson got married yesterday November 16th and not only did they ask their guests to wear white, the couple arrived at the venue of their wedding riding bicycles. And yes, Jay Z was at the wedding but their dad Mathew Knowles wasn't there. See the photos after the cut...

FG introduces austerity measures as drop in oil price in int'l market poses threat to Nigerian economy

Following the continued drop in oil price in international market, the Federal government yesterday announced the introduction of some austerity measures such as tax introduction on luxury goods such as champagne, jets, amongst other, to be implemented to reduce the effect of the continued oil price decline on the Nigerian economy as Nigeria is largely an oil dependent economy.

Federal High Court sitting in Benin, Edo State yesterday reserved ruling in the N25billion money laundering and abuse of office charge brought against Micheal Igbinedion and Charles Eboigbodin by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for January 30, 2015.
Justice J. Liman on Friday November 14, 2014, fixed the January 30 date for judgement after the adoption of written addresses by counsel: Rotimi Jacob SAN for the prosecution and Mike Ozekhome SAN, Ricky Tafa SAN and Barr. Richard O. Ahonaruogo for the accused persons
The accused persons along with their companies: Gava Corporation Limited; Romrig Nigeria Limited; PML Securities Company Limited and PML Nigeria Limited, were arraigned by the anti- graft agency on a 81-count charge bothering on Money Laundering, Misappropriation of funds, conspiracy and Abuse of office.

Fresh Bomb Explosion Rocks Azare, Bauchi

                        

A bomb explosion has occurred in Azare Town of Bauchi State, North-Eastern Nigeria, the News Agency of Nigeria is reporting.


A bomb explosion has occurred in Azare Town of Bauchi State, North-Eastern Nigeria, the News Agency of Nigeria is reporting.

The agency quotes the Bauchi State Police Commissioner, Lawal Shehu, as stating that the casualty figure is yet to be ascertained. He also said rescue operation is ongoing.

This would be second explosion in the town within a week following an earlier one on November 7 that killed 13 people.

The North-Eastern part of Nigeria has been the most affected by the Boko Haram insurgency which has caused the death of over 13,000 people and has displaced hundreds of thousands of others.
