How would you feel if your training provider decides to pamper you just for the sake of it? That was exactly what happened last Saturday, November 15, 2014 at an event organised by Simon Page Business School for female marketing Professionals both alumni and those still studying.
The event dubbed Simon Page Divas Day was a free pampering session that included massage, pedicure, make-up, body polish, photo shoot and diva contest.
It brought together about 60 professional marketing women from leading companies like Unilever, PZ Cussons, Promasidor, Nestle, MTN, ARM life PLC., Oando, KPMG, Loveworld Publishing, etc
The event was a massive success with guest speakers like the Head of Human Resources Nestle Nigeria, Mrs Marie Owoniyi who spoke on achieving a work-life balance and Dr Ayoade Adeoye who enlightened the ladies on feminine health. Participants were all smiles with everyone of them expressing their delight at the initiative and commending such thoughtfulness expressed by Simon Page
According to Tomi Ajiboye, Head of Programs and Operations at Simon Page Business School Nigeria, ‘This is our way of giving back and to appreciate the ladies of Simon Page who have done exceedingly well in their professional studies despite the demands of a full-time job and other responsibilities on the home front.’
