Acting Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, says the police has gotten approval to recruit more personnel into the force. Abba, who made this known when he received the United Arab Emirate Ambassador to Nigeria, Mohmud Mohammed, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, said the recruitment process will soon begin.
He said some equipment bought by the Federal Government to enhance the capacity of the police in fighting crimes in line with modern technological developments have also been commissioned. Abba also received the Deputy Chief of Missions in the United States Embassy in Nigeria, Francis Bray.
